Why I Built This Guide
When my father needed care, I thought I had an advantage — I'm a Registered Nurse. I understood medications, symptoms, and how hospitals work. What I wasn't prepared for was everything else: the insurance calls that went in circles, the resources I didn't know existed until months too late, the exhaustion of building a routine while learning a new diagnosis, and the quiet grief that started long before I expected it. I built this guide so other caregivers don't have to learn all of it the hard way, the way I did.
